Table 10 - Module Properties Dialog Box Tab Descriptions
Tab Definition
General On this tab, you can do the following:
• View the module catalog number and description of the module being created.
• View the vendor of the module being created.
• View the name of the parent module.
• Enter the name of the module.
• Enter a description of the module.
• Choose the desired communication formats: non-I/O modules.
• Specify a minor revision number for the module.
• Specify a node.
• Specify a chassis size.
• Chose an electronic keying option (not used for SoftLogix).
Connection Use this tab to define controller-to-module behavior. On this tab, you can perform these actions:
• Choose a requested packet interval
• Choose to inhibit the module
• Configure the controller so that a loss of connection to this module causes a major fault
• View module faults
The data on this tab comes directly from the controller. This tab displays information about the condition of the
connection between the module and the controller.
Module Info The Module Info tab of the Module Properties dialog box displays read-only information about the selected module.
