7.6 Operation Procedure
7.6.7 Starting Measurement
In this program, all the items selected in item [2] “Measure Mode” for the measurement
section are continuously measured, and the measured results are saved in the set output
destination (paragraph 7.6.1).
Follow the procedure listed below to start the measurements. The numbers in the
brackets [ ] on the text are the control numbers of the “Initial Menu Screen” in Fig. 7-1.
(1) Enter the serial number of the device under test in item [8] “Serial Number”. A
maximum of eight alphanumeric characters can be inputted.
Directly make a key entry when it is necessary to change the address number
displayed in item [9] “Address Number”. The address number can also be
changed by using the scroll bar located at the right of the display field.
(2) Select the item to be measured in item [2] “Measure Mode”.
(3) Select item [1] “Meas_Item_Select”. The measurement item selection screen for
the measurement section selected in the paragraph (2) above is displayed.
(4) Select the items to be measured. Multiple items can be selected, simultaneously.

Screen” for more information on the controls effective on each screen.
(5) After the measurement items have been selected, the devices to be used for the
selected measurement are highlighted in the item [4] “Address Number”.
Directly input the data if it is necessary to change the address number. The ad-
dress number can also be changed by using the scroll bar located at the right of
the display field.
(6) Check the output destination of measured results displayed in the item [5] “Data
Output Device”; and if the setting is to be changed, make the changes required by
the procedure listed in paragraph 7.6.1 “Selecting Output Destination of Mea-
sured Results.”
(7) Check the setting for each item, and click the item [7] “Measure” button.
This starts the check of each the set item, and then starts the measurement.
