5.8.5 Writing Basic Calibration Data
1. Prepare a floppy disk (IBM 1.44M format) on which the files below are in
subdirectory MT8801.

2. Power-OFF
3. Set bit 0 of the DIP switch to ON.
4. Insert the FD containing the data files above in the drive.
5. Press BS + Power-ON. After the FD access started, release the keys.
6. When the message Loading ... done appears and a long buzzer sounds, the in-
stallation is completed.

5.8.6 Setting Spectrum Option
5.8.6.1 File configuration
Prepare a floppy disk (IBM 1.44M format) on which the files below are stored in
subdirectory MT8801. For details on the operation procedure, see para. 5.8.5, Writing
Basic Calibration Data.
Data type
Basic calibration data transfer permission file
Absolute level calibration value data file
Spectrum option setting data file

LVLCAL.TXT
MT8801.SPA
5.8.6.2 LVLCAL.TXT contents
The file format is the same as for the other basic calibration data.
Write data to the MAIN and AUX terminals in sequence. Do not forget to suffix CR
+ LF to the data.
5.8.6.3 MT8801.SPA contents
Write Spectrum Opt. in ASCII.
To invalidate the MT8801.SPA contents, write other data instead of above.
