6.7.3 Procedures for Signal Generator Calibration
This program displays Fig. 6-31 “Signal Generator Calibration Selection Screen” to-
gether with each data file information when the measurement is started following the
selection of the measurement of the reception system on the “Initial Menu Screen”
shown in Fig. 6-4. The following section shows the names of control functions on this
screen as well as an outline of these functions.
[1] Channel (Input terminal display section)
This section displays channel numbers when the use of the channel selector is selected
on the “Initial Menu Screen” shown in Fig. 6-4, or displays the input terminal names
when the use of the channel selector is not selected.
[2] File Name (Data file name display section)
This section displays the name of the file that stores the calibration data set for each
channel and input terminal.
[3] Spectrum Analyzer (“Spectrum analyzer” input section display)
This section displays the date and time of creating data to be used for spectrum analyzer
measurement located in the data file displayed in section [2].
[4] Power Meter (“Power meter” input section display)
This section displays the date and time of creating data to be used for power meter
measurement located in the data file displayed in section [2].
[5] Cal Oscillator (“Cal oscillator” input section display)
This section displays the date and time of creating data to be used for Cal oscillator
measurement located in the data file displayed in section [2].
[6] Aptitude (“Usage aptitude” display)
This section displays the aptitude of usage of the file for each channel or input terminal
in the measurement selected on the “Initial Menu Screen” shown in Fig. 6-4. See the
section below for more information.
[7] Start (S) (Measurement start button)
This button is used to start calibration when calibration of the signal generator is se-
lected on this screen, or start measurement when calibration is not selected.
[8] Cancel (C) (Cancel button) This button is used to suspend measurement and return to the “Initial Menu Screen”
shown in Fig. 6-4.
[9] Channel Selector (Section to display the aptitude and the selection status)
This section displays, in different colors, the aptitude of usage of each channel or input
terminal for the measurement items selected on the “Initial Menu Screen,” shown in
Fig. 6-4, as well as the calibration selection status of the signal generator. See the
section below for more information.
