7.6.3 Registering Power Sensor and Setting Calibration Factor
The Power Sensor and Calibration Factor Input Screen shown in Fig. 7-5 is dis-
played, for example, when the level calibration of the signal generator is performed;
and the editing is enabled.
Follow the procedure described below to select and register the serial number of the
sensor to be used and to input the calibration factor of the sensor.
(1) The Power Sensor and Calibration Factor Input Screen shown in Fig. 7-5 is
displayed after displaying a message when a power sensor is used , for example,
at the calibration of a signal generator. The sensor to be used is displayed at the
same time.
(2) Check the sensor type displayed in item [10] Input Grid in Fig. 7-5. If the
displayed sensor type is different from that to be edited, change the setting in the
item [10].
(3) Check the serial number displayed in item [3] in Fig. 7-5; and if the setting is to
be changed, select item [1] Data_Select. The Power Sensor Registration and
Selection Screen shown in Fig. 7-6 is displayed.
(4) Set a directory for sensor data registration or selection using items [1] and [2] in
Fig. 7-6. If any already registered data files are located in the specified directory,
these data files are listed in item [6].
(5) To use an already registered data file, select it in item [6] in Fig. 7-6. On the other
hand, to register a new serial number; enter the new file name to be registered in
item [3] File Name.
Use .DIO for a diode sensor, and use .AMO for an amorphous sensor as the
extension of the file name to be registered.
After the completion of data selection and entry, the path to the file name set in
item [4] is displayed.
(6) Check the setting of each item, and click the item [7] OK button in Fig. 7-6.
This restores the screen back to the Power Sensor and Calibration Factor Input
Screen shown in Fig. 7-5; and then relevant data are displayed in the frequency
and calibration factor display fields, and the serial number set is displayed in item
[3].
(7) Check the value in the calibration factor display field of item [7] displayed on
each grid in Fig. 7-5, and click the relevant cell to change the value. The cell
value is displayed in item [11] Data input, enabling changes to the setting.
(8) For changing the value (displayed in item [4] Reference Cal Factor in Fig. 7-5),
perform a direct key input.
(9) When all the changes are completed, press the item [9] OK button in Fig. 7-5.
If changes to information were made; a message prompting the confirmation of
whether to save the changes as shown in Fig. 7-18 is displayed.
The buttons in this message box perform the following operations.
