5.6 A16 AF
5.6.1 SG1 FM deviation adjustment
(1) Setting of measurement system

HP8903 Audio Analyzer
AF Frequency=1 kHz
AF Level=1.414Vrms

HP8901 Modulation Analyzer
HPF=50 Hz
LPF=3 kHz
De-emphasis=off
Input the HP8903 AF output to the MT8802A Ext FM Input terminal.
Connect the MT8802A RF output (AUX Output) to the HP8901 RF input ter-
minal.
(2) Adjust the R19 (FM1 variable resistor) so that the HP8901 measurement result
(FM deviation (p-p)/2) is within 35 kHz ±1%.
5.6.2 AF Osc.1 level adjustment

Connect the MT8802A RF output (AUX Output) to the HP8901 RF input ter-
minal.
(2) Adjust the R47 (DA1 variable resistor) so that the HP8901 measurement result
(FM deviation (p-p)/2) is within 35 kHz ± 1%.
