5.8.8 Clearing All SRAM
The SRAM backed up by a battery contains the data below. Perform clearing all
SRAM only once before factory shipment.
• Power ON time
• Number of attenuator switchings
• Number of Main CPU board flash-memory writings
The method of reading each data item will be examined separately.
1. Power-OFF
2. Set bit 0 of the DIP switch to ON.
3. Press Local + Power-ON. After all the LED lamps light on, release the keys. All
the LED lamps go off and starts clearing all the SRAM.
4. After about 3 seconds elapsed, a long buzzer sounds and the execution result
shown in the table below is reported.
LED lamp status
[Shift] key lamp lights on.
[Panel lock] and [Shift] key lamps light on.
Execution result
Clear OK
Clear no good

5.8.9 Setting Parameters to State of Shipment from Factory
Initialize the setup parameters saved in the SRAM backed up by a battery to the default
values.
1. Power-OFF
2. Press [Preset] + Power-ON. After the ANRITSU logo appears, release the keys.
