6.6 Operation
6.6.2 Initial Menu Screen Summary
When this program is successfully activated, the “Initial Menu Screen,” shown in Fig.
6-4, is displayed together with the default values. The following section shows the
names of control functions on this screen as well as an outline of these functions.
[1] Measurement item selection section
This section is used to confirm the modifications to the serial number, output destina-
tion of the measured results and standardized value of the graph on the measurement
screen as well as the current set values.
[2] Measurement Type (Transmission/reception selection section)
Select “Transmitter” to perform measurement of the transmission system of the DUT,
and select “Receiver” to perform measurement of the reception system. When the
measurement of the reception system is selected, the section to display the number of
units connected of section [11] switches into the setting enable status. Similarly, the
address number of the signal generator of section [5] also switches into the setting
enable status. Moreover, when the use of the “Channel Selector” is selected in section
[1], the setting of address number is also enabled.
[3] Measurement data confirmation section
This section enables graphic display of measured results taken from the data file for the
DUT for which measurement has already been completed. See 6.6.7 “Confirmation of
Measured results” for more information.
[4] Measure Mode (Measuring mode selection section)
This section enables selection items the measuring mode, from either “Continuous
Mode,” which continuously measures all correction values, or “Item Selected Mode”
to measure only the items selected, for the measurement module selected in section [2]
of the DUT displayed in section [8].
[5] Address number (address number display section)
This section displays the address number set for each equipment. To modify the ad-
dress number, directly input a number or use the scroll bar.
[6] Measurement terminal selection section
This section displayed when “Item Selected Mode” is selected in section [4], enabling
selection of measurement terminal. When this item is selected, all the items displayed
in sections [10] and [12] are selected.
[7] Option 05 selection section This section is displayed when “MT8801B” is selected in section [8] and “Transmitter”
is selected in section [2]. This section is selected when the DUT is mounted with
Option 05.
