8.1 Outline
This section describes the check procedure of the call processing function of the
MT8802A.
This check is performed when the A30 CDMA BASEBAND, A31 CDMA IQ, or A32
Demod RF is replaced to a new one for repair.
8.2 Instrument to be required
Mobile radio, which conforms to the IS-95A, J-STD-008, or ARIB-T53 standard.
8.3 Check Procedure
8.3.1 Setting parameters
Set the parameters of the MT8802A in accordance with the standard of the radio.

8.3.2 Checking mobile radio
Step1: Connect the Main terminal at front panel of the MT8802A to the RF input/
output connector of the radio to be checked.
Step 2: Set the Call Processing function to Start state.
When the state display is changed from Start to Idle, turn On the power of the
radio.
Step 3: When the state display of the MT8802A is changed to Idle (Regist), set the
NW Origination.
Step 4: Confirm that the MT8802A is enabled to become the Loop Back mode.
Step 5: Set the Call Processing function to Stop state.
Repeat the Steps 2 to 4 at BS Output Power of –25 dBm and –75 dBm, respec-
tively.
