1 Removing and installing engine

– Insert guide pin of adapter -T40058- with the larger-diam-
eter section -arrow 1- pointing towards the engine. The
smaller-diameter section -arrow 2- faces the adapter.
– When loosening torque converter bolts, counterhold crank-
shaft using adapter -T40058-.
Ignore -arrow-.
– Unscrew 3 bolts -arrow- for torque converter, working
through opening of removed starter (turn crankshaft

turn in direction of engine rotation each time).
– Remove bottom engine/gearbox securing bolts -3 ... 10-.
Caution!
Do not rotate crankshaft in opposite direction of engine rota-
tion.
