With the Avaya Aura
®
and Multiple Device Access feature, you can have up to ten devices 3
configured with the same extension number. You can use this extension number to transfer active 4
calls between your devices.5
Before you begin6
Ensure that the system administrator has activated the Multiple Device Access feature (MDA) for 7
your extension.8
Procedure9
1. Initiate a call from your phone.10
2. To transfer the call to another phone, press Bridge on your phone.11
If the MDA phone that is joining the call uses a different signaling mode address family, you 12
might notice the Limited Service icon appear on your device for a brief moment. After the 13
MDA phone that is joining the call switches to using the signaling mode address family of 14
the active call, the icon disappears.15

Multicast Paging19
With the Multicast Paging feature, you can receive a page that will be automatically played on the 20
phone. If configured by the system administrator, you can send a multicast page to a group of 21
phones in the network.22
An incoming multicast page is played on the phone speaker. When the page is played, the 23
Phone screen displays the Page from <group name> notification during the whole time of 24
transmission.25
All configured multicast groups that you can send a page to are available in the Features menu. 26
You can add, move or delete the multicast page keys from the Phone screen by the common 27
customization procedure.28
Active calls with a lower priority than the multicast page are put on hold, all lower-priority incoming 29
calls are ignored.30
A multicast page is ignored if the agent is on an active call and has the Do Not Disturb status, or 31
making an emergency call.32
