About this task2
Unlock the phone using a PIN or a password. Depending on the configuration, the phone screen 3
displays the field for entering a PIN or a password. A PIN is a digit-only value, while a password 4
can be an alphanumeric value.5
You cannot unlock the phone if you enter an incorrect PIN or password. The system administrator 6
sets the maximum number of incorrect attempts. If you exceed the limit, the phone temporarily 7
blocks you from attempting to unlock the phone for a period that the administrator specifies.8

If you do not know or remember your PIN or password, contact your system administrator.10

1. Press Unlock.12
2. On the Phone screen, enter a PIN or a password.13
Setting the network mode14
About this task15
You can set the network mode to Ethernet or Wi-Fi. You do not need to perform this procedure if 16
your phone is configured to connect to Ethernet or a specific Wi-Fi network.17

Ensure that the system administrator gave you access to perform this task.19

1. Press Main Menu.21
2. Scroll to Settings and press Select.22
3. Scroll to Network and press Select.23
4. Scroll to Network mode.24
The Network mode setting shows the following options:25
• Ethernet: To connect to an Ethernet network.26
• Wi-Fi: To connect phone to a Wi-Fi network.27
5. Press one of the following:28
• Toggle29
• Right Arrow key30
