Sidetone is the ambient noise you can hear as feedback when you speak using the handset 2
or headset of your phone. To adjust the level of this feedback noise, contact your system 3

Use this procedure to set the background image for the primary display of the phone.8
Also, you can have the same background image as the primary display for the Avaya J100 9
Expansion Module (JEM24) module, if your administrator makes the required settings. The JEM24 10
display reflects any changes made to the primary display background. If you select a custom 11
background image for the primary display, the JEM24 displays the default Avaya device image.12

1. Press Main Menu.14
2. Scroll to Settings and press Select.15
3. Scroll to Display and press Select.16
4. Scroll to Background and press Select.17
5. Scroll to Primary display and press Select.18
6. Scroll down to the new image.19
7. (Optional) To preview the image, press Preview and then press Back.20
8. Press Select.21
9. Press Save.22
