Using the Emerg soft key, you can dial only the number that is given the highest priority by the 1
system administrator. Alternatively, you can dial the emergency numbers by using the dial pad in 2
the following cases:3
• The Emerg soft key is unavailable.4
• The Emerg soft key is available, but you want to dial an emergency number that is not set by 5
the system administrator.6
In the IP Office environment, the Emerg soft key is unavailable. You must dial the emergency 7
number by using the dial pad.8

Ensure that the Emerg soft key is assigned by your administrator.12
Procedure13
Do one of the following:14
• On the Phone screen, press the Emerg soft key, and again press Emerg when the phone 15
prompts you for confirmation.16
• Dial the emergency number by using the dial pad.17
