140 - Settings
This operational mode allows you to configure MC6-T according to
your own needs and also, recalibrate MC6-T. The following settings/
configurations are available:
Language for selecting user interface language.
About. Information about installed modules, firmware options etc.
Power Management for defining auto-off delays and display
brightness. See also chapter Power Management.
Sound Volumes for setting volumes for different sounds MC6-T emits.
Date & Time, including Time Zone selection and activating Daylight
Saving Time. This setting is synchronized with the computer when
communicating with CMX. See also chapter Mobile Security Plus
software option.
Regional Settings for setting local net frequency and default values.
See also chapter Mobile Security Plus software option.
Owner for entering owner information, shown in Home View.
Controller Presets. Enabled if you have purchased controller
communication options. More in chapter Additional Information.
Maintenance for recalibrating/adjusting MC6-T and setting calibration
date. Also for the possibility to align the Touch Screen.
Documenting Calibrator. Settings related to instrument calibration,
e.g. is "Save as Both" allowed ("Save as Both" means a single
calibration run may be saved both as As Found and As Left calibration.)
Note: If an instrument is sent from CMX, then CMX is the
master system of these settings. In that case settings set in
the calibrator does not matter.
HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Profibus PA for defining
communication parameters to Digital Communication Instruments.
Network for setting local area network parameters (for Beamex internal
use only).
Temperature Block opens a window for configuring how the heating
and cooling is defined in the Temperature Block. This setting is also
available in Temperature Calibrator's menu, see chapter The Menu.
Each setting/configuration is self-explanatory once you have familiarized
yourself with MC6-T's user interface. Configuration screens often have a
menu option for recalling factory settings.
Note: MC6-T's calibration date can be set in Maintenance
configuration window under Change Module Data setting. PIN
code for setting the calibration date is 2010. PIN code for MC6-
T's Adjust Calibrator setting is device dependent and was
shipped together with MC6-T.
