Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment - 145
per year. This ensures accuracy and operating reliability throughout MC6-
T's lifetime.
MC6-T is a high-accuracy calibrator and it should be recalibrated only at
laboratories being able to offer sufficiently low uncertainty. Please note
that all calibration laboratories are not able to offer required uncertainty. It
is highly recommended that the calibration laboratory is accredited (ISO
17025) and has certified quality system in place.
For advice, please contact Beamex.
Note: If device is used in higly contaminated areas or the
Temperature Block gets contaminated, device has to be sent for
recalibration as its thermal properties may change.
By sending the calibrator to Beamex or your closest Beamex authorized
service center for recalibration, you can be sure that your equipment
will be cleaned, fully tested, loaded with the latest firmware/features,
and recalibrated in a state-of-the-art calibration facility that meets the
specifications of the calibrator.
Note: When setting MC6-T's calibration date, see chapter
Settings.
Disposal of Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment
Beamex and WEEE
Beamex is an environmentally conscious company developing products
with a view to ensure that they are easy to recycle and do not introduce
hazardous materials into the environment.
In the European Union (EU) and other countries with separate collection
systems, waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is
subject to regulations.
EU WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU (the WEEE Directive) requires that
producers of electronic equipment are responsible for the collection,
reuse, recycling and treatment of WEEE which the Producer places on
the EU market after August 13, 2005. The objective of this regulation is
to preserve, protect and improve the quality of the environment, protect
human health, and conserve natural resources.
