either 1 or 2-minute time window for the rolling 2 x STDDEV (2σ) stability
calculation. Temperature generation in the Temperature Block always use
1-minute Additional Stability Check.
When Additional Stability Check has been enabled for a temperature
measurement, the calculated 2σ Stability value can be seen e.g. in an
Additional Info box below the measurement or in the temperature graph
as a thin line.
The temperature signal is determined to be stable (unstable symbol
disappear) when the 2σ Stability value is below the Stability Limit (2σ
≤). The Stability Limit corresponds to the stability specification of the
Temperature Block. Please check the detailed specifications of the
device. Notice that the Internal Reference and the Temperature Block do
not have a valid Stability Limit for temperatures outside the specification
temperature range, i.e. the unstable symbol will never disappear outside
this range. For RTD and TC sensors however, the Stability Limit is valid
and extends outside this range with constant values.
