Repositioning the dispense and aspirate tubes helps minimize turbulence in the
wells, preserving more cells. Using a standard 96-well Corning Costar plate, best
results were achieved with these values:
Dispense Step Settings:
Z - height = 120 steps
X - horizontal position = -45
Y - horizontal position = 0
Aspirate Step Settings:
Z = 46 steps
X = 35
Y = 0
Secondary Aspirate:
Z = 80 steps
X = -45
Y = 0
About 40 µL/well residual fluid is
retained using these values.
