8. Loosen the eight hexagon head screws with washers (9) at
the covers of the maintenance openings (10) and lift off the
covers (10).
Dismantle the cover of the mainte-
nance opening
Separate the drive flange Replace the brush auger old/new
9. You can get to the screws which are used to connect the
drive flange (13) to the auger adapter (17) through the main-
tenance openings. Loosen the six hexagon head screws (12).
10. Pull out the brush auger (8) with the auger adapters (15, 17)
from the side of the counter bearing casing using a suitable
hoist.
11. Loosen the hexagon socket head cap screws (14, 16) of the
auger adapters (15, 17) and disconnect the adapters from the
brush auger (8).
If required, replace auger adapter Install the drive flange Install the cover of the maintenance
opening
12. Attach the new brush auger (8) to the auger adapters (15, 17)
and tighten the hexagon socket head cap screws (14, 16).
13. Attach the mounting flange (7) to the auger adapter (15) and
tighten the six hexagon socket head cap screws (6).
14. Push the new brush auger (8) with the auger adapters (15,
17) and the mounting flange (7) into the pipe casing (11) up
to the stop.
