Differential pressure (DP)

0.1 - 2.2 bar 0.1 - 2.7 bar
1.45 - 31.91 psi 1.45 - 39.16 psi
P3 = accumulated solid phase, variable
P4 = spring pre-tension, variable
Operation with gravity feed:
The differential pressure in continuous operation should be approx. 200 mbar
(2.90 psi).
If this value is permanently exceeded, the thick matter contains an undesir-
ably large amount of liquid.
If the differential pressure is lower than 80 mbar (1.16 psi), no separation
takes place.
If the inlet pressure P1 is permanently exceeded, too much solid matter enters
the brush auger, which results in an increased power consumption of the drive
that eventually can cause damage to the device.
Operation with RC-Control unit:
If the limit of the differential pressure of 2.2 bar (31.91 psi) is exceeded, the
liquid content of the solid phase is undesirably high.
If the inlet pressure P1 (feed pressure) is permanently exceeded, too much solid
matter enters the brush auger, which results in an increased power consumption
of the drive that eventually can cause damage to the device.
