Installing Firmware Upgrades
To upgrade firmware:
CAUTION!
Do not interrupt printer power during an upgrade.
1. On a computer, go to www.bradyid.com.
2. Point to Technical Support and then, under the Downloads heading, click
Firmware.
3. Find the most recent BradyPrinter S3100 firmware upgrade in the list and click
it. You can sort the list alphabetically to make it easier to find the printer
model.
4. Click Begin Download.
5. Save the downloaded file to a USB flash drive.
6. Connect the USB flash drive to any available USB port on the printer. The
printer recognizes the upgrade file and displays a message on the touch
screen.
7. Follow the instructions on the touch screen. When the upgrade is complete,
the printer restarts.
