Pipe Markers
Create Pipe Marker Labels
Create Pipe Marker Labels
Use these procedures to create pipe marker labels. See “Set Up Pipe Marker
Options” on page 108 for an explanation on setting color norm and other Pipe
Marker preferences.
To create a pipe marker label:
1. From the Home page, touch the Pipe Markers button.
- or -
Touch the More Label Types button, then touch the Pipe Markers button.
2. From the Pipe Marker panel, touch the Create New File button.
3. From the Pipe Marker Style dialog, select one of the following pipe marker
label types:
4. Perform the steps appropriate for your pipe marker style (see “Creating a
Standard Pipe Marker” on page 110, Creating a Rollform Pipe Marker” on
page 113 or “Creating a Symbol or Arrow Tape Pipe Marker” on page 115).
Label Type Description
Standard
Label is placed along the length of the pipe. Contents include
text and graphics. Flow direction is optional.
Rollform
Similar to standard pipe markers except designed to wrap
around the circumference of the pipe.
Symbol or
Arrow Type
Symbol
repeats along the entire length of the label and wraps
around the circumference of the pipe.
Arrow
wraps around the pipe
and indicates the direction of flow.
