2. Intended use
2.1 Task/function within system
The ELAN 4 air motor hose with hand control is an accessory of the
ELAN 4 air motor system. It is used to connect the hand-held ELAN 4 air
applied parts (motor and handpieces) to the compressed air supply. It is
used to supply/discharge compressed air for operating compressed air
motors. The hand control can be used by the user to control the motor
speed of the connected ELAN 4 applied part.
The ELAN 4 air wall adapters are an accessory of the ELAN 4 air motor sys-
tem. The ELAN 4 air wall adapters connect the ELAN 4 air motor hose with
hand control to the compressed air supply unit.
2.2 Application Environment

Application in the sterile and unsterile area. Sterile separation takes place
at the motor hose.
