SPROCKET COVER 2.34
REMOVAL
1. See Figure 2-118. Remove rear right chin fairing fasten-
ers.
2. See Figure 2-119. Remove sprocket cover fasteners and
washers (1).
INSTALLATION
1. See Figure 2-119. Position sprocket cover (2) over front
sprocket.
NOTE
Apply LOCTITE 222 (purple) to the long fastener (1) only.
2. Install sprocket cover (2) using sprocket cover fasteners
(1, 3) and tighten all fasteners and washers (1, 3) to 12-
36 in-lbs (1-4 Nm).
3. Install chin fairing. See 2.37 CHIN FAIRING.
