Thismachinemaybeequippedwithanenginegridheater.TurnthekeyswitchtoON,andwaitfortheenginegrid
heaterindicatorlamptogoout.Theindicatorlightmaycomeonagainduringcrankingandshortlyaftertheengine
startsforpostheating.Thisallowsforsmoothrunningconditionsduringcoldweatherwarmup.Contactyourautho-
rizeddealerforadditionalcoldweatherstartingaids.
Machinewarmup
Toproperlywarmthemachineincoldconditions:
1.Setenginespeedto1200-1400RPM.Operatethe
grounddriveatnogreaterthanspeed8.
2.Cycletheimplementsystemfunctionsbymovingeach
functionthefullcylinderstrokeseveraltimes.
3.RepeatStep2for10minoruntilhydraulicoiltemper-
atureisatleast10.0°C(50.0°F).
NOTE:Warmoiltoabove20.0°C(68.0°F)foropti-
mizedperformance.
4.Oncetheenginehasstarted,runtheengineatabout
halfthrottle(1650RPM)foraminimumoffourmin-
utesundernoload.Thiswillhelpstabilizetheengine.
5.Operatethemachineinaclearsafearea.Checkthe
fulloperationofthemachine.
Ifthemachineidlesincoldtemperatures,theenginewillstaywarm,butthehydraulicoilandbrakeoilwillcool.The
oilandcomponentscanbecomecold,whichwillaffecthydraulicfunctionresponsetime.Ifthisshouldhappenyou
MUSTgothroughthecompletewarmupprocedure.
Makesurethetracksystemiscleanwhenyouparkthemachine.Incoldweather,parkthemachineonplanks.This
willpreventthetracksfromfreezingtotheground.
