Beforeperforminganyserviceonthehydraulicsystem,youmustallowittocool.Hydraulicuid
temperatureshouldnotexceed40°C(104°F).
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorseriousinjury.

Cleanthereservoirsuctionscreenswhenthehourmeterregisters2000hoursandevery2000hoursthereafter.Clean
moreoftenifconditionssorequire.Cleanthereservoirsuctionscreensinconjunctionwithreplacingthehydraulic/
hydrostaticdriveoilandlters.
Prioroperation:
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparkingbrake
applied,andtheattachmentloweredtotheground,turnofftheengine,removethekey,andverifythatenginecom-
ponentshavecooledoravoidcontact.Makesurethatallresidualpressureisrelievedfromcircuitsbeforebeginning
maintenance.
1.Locatethesuctionscreensonthebottomofthehy-
draulicoiltankbyopeningtherightrearaccessdoor.
2.Removethettingstoaccessthesuctionscreens.
3.Removethefronthydrostaticchargesuctionscreen
(1),therearhydrostaticchargesuctionscreen(2),and
theequipmenthydraulicsuctionscreen(3).
4.Cleanthescreensinsolventorreplace,ifnecessary.
5.Installcleanedornewscreens,andreplacethettings.
