Drainwaterandsedimentfromthefuellterevery50hoursandevery50thereafterormoreoftenifconditionsso
requireoriffuelqualityispoor.
Prioroperation:
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparkingbrake
applied,andtheattachmentloweredtotheground,turnofftheengine,removethekey,andverifythatenginecom-
ponentshavecooledoravoidcontact.Makesurethatallresidualpressureisrelievedfromcircuitsbeforebeginning
maintenance.
Drainfuelltercondensation
1.Locatethefuellter(1)ontherightsideofthemachine.
2.Openthedrainvalveonthebottomofthefuellterby
turningcounterclockwisetwoorthreeturns.
3.Drainthewaterand/orcontaminantsfromthefuelpre-
lterintoasuitablecontaineruntilcleanfuelows.Do
notallowfueltospillonengineorground.
4.Tightenthedrainvalveonlyngertight,turningclock-
wise.
5.Checkforleaks.
