thepressuretodrop.

cals.

Draincondensationfromthefueltankwhenthehourmeterregisters1000hoursofoperationandevery1000hours
thereafter.Drainmorefrequentlyifconditionssorequire.Thefueltankdrainislocatedontheleftsideofthemachine.
Prioroperation:
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparkingbrake
applied,andtheattachmentloweredtotheground,turnofftheengine,removethekey,andverifythatenginecom-
ponentshavecooledoravoidcontact.Makesurethatallresidualpressureisrelievedfromcircuitsbeforebeginning
maintenance.
Machineswiththeenvironmentaldrainoptionincludea
fueltankdrainhose.Locatethefueltankdrainhose
behindabolt-onservicepanelontheleft-handsideof
themachine.

NOTE:Onmachinesthatarenotequippedwiththeenvironmentaldrainoption,connectadrainhosetothefueltank
drainvalve.Thedrainvalveisaccessiblethroughtherightrearaccesspanelorbyremovingthecabooraccess
panelandtiltingbacktheoperator’sseat.
