theinitialrun-inperiod.Contactyourauthorizeddealerforassistancewiththisprocedure.Repeatthisprocedureat
500hours,1,000hours,1,500hours,andat2,000hours.
Pulltheoilsamplefromthereservoir.Thismethodhasthepotentialforcontaminantstoenterthesampletubeasyou
insertthesampletubeintothereservoir.Thismethodshouldonlybeusedwhenuidlinesamplingisnotpossible.
1.Cleantheexternalsurfacesofthesampler(2)withsol-
vent.
2.Removethecapofasamplebottleandattachthesam-
plebottletothecapofthesampler(2).
3.Usethesampler(2)todrawapproximately50-100mL
(2-3USoz)oflteredsolventthroughthesampler
line(3)intotheattachedsamplebottle.
4.Removethesamplebottlefromthesampleranddis-
cardthesolvent.
5.Makesurethatthesamplebottleisdry.Attachthe
samplebottletothecapofthesampler(2).

6.Cleantheareasaroundthenaldrivell/checkplug(1).
7.Slowlyremovethenaldrivell/checkplug(1).
8.Insertthesamplerline(3)intotheintotheopeningof
thenaldrivell/checkplug(1)toadepthof1/2ofthe
uidheight.
NOTE:Ifpossible,avoidcontactwiththesidewalls.
9.Drawapproximately50-100mL(2-3USoz)ofuid
fromthereservoir.
10.Removethesamplebottlefromthesampler(2)and
discardtheuid.
