andsteps,andgetonoroffslowly.Maintainathree-pointcontacttoavoidfalling:bothhandsonthe
handrailsandonefootonthestep,oronehandonthehandrailandbothfeetonthesteps.

1.Parkthemachineonrm,levelground,andplacethe
transmissioninneutral.
NOTICE:Ifyoumusttemporarilyparkthemachine
onahillside,putthefrontofthemachinetowardthe
bottomofthehill.Makesurethemachineisbehindan
objectthatwillnotmove.
2.Lowerthedozerbladeandripper(ifequipped)tothe
ground.

3.Pressthemomentarytoggleswitchtoengagethe
parkingbrake.Theindicatorlightontheswitchand
instrumentclusterwillilluminatewhentheparking
brakeisengaged.
4.Runtheengineatlowidlespeedforafewminutesif
theenginehasbeenworkingwithaheavyload.This
decreasesthetemperatureoftheenginepartsevenly.
Theturbochargermaybedamagediftheengineisnot
properlyshutdown.
5.Makesuretheengineisatitslowestidle.
6.TurnthekeyswitchtoOFFtostoptheengine.
7.Whenyouparkthemachine,makesurethetracksys-
temisclean.Incoldweather,placethemachineon
planks.Thiswillpreventthetracksfromfreezingto
theground.
