Checktheengineairlterperiodicallyfordirtanddebrisbuildup.Theprimaryairltercanbecleanedusingcom-
pressedair.Donotattempttocleanthesecondarylter.Itmustalwaysbereplaced.Replacetheengineprimary
andsecondaryairlterevery2000hoursoreachyear,whicheveroccursrst.
Prioroperation:
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparkingbrake
applied,andtheattachmentloweredtotheground,turnofftheengine,removethekey,andverifythatenginecom-
ponentshavecooledoravoidcontact.Makesurethatallresidualpressureisrelievedfromcircuitsbeforebeginning
maintenance.
NOTICE:Replacetheprimaryelementifthelterwarninglampontheinstrumentclusterilluminatesortheaudible
alarmsounds.Ifthecautionwarningscontinueafterreplacingtheprimarylter,replacethesecondarylter.Under
normalconditions,youshouldreplacethesecondarylterafterthreeprimarylterreplacements.Replaceltersmore
oftenifconditionssowarrant.DONOTcleanthesecondarylter.Youmustreplacethesecondarylter.
