Checkthetorqueofthetrackshoeboltsaftertherst20hoursofoperationwithanewmachineoriftheshoeshave
beenremoved.
Prioroperation:
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparkingbrake
applied,andtheattachmentloweredtotheground,turnofftheengine,removethekey,andverifythatenginecom-
ponentshavecooledoravoidcontact.Makesurethatallresidualpressureisrelievedfromcircuitsbeforebeginning
maintenance.Makecertainallmatingsurfacesarecleanandfreeofdirt,rust,andpaint.

dardtrackshoe.

380.8-435.2N·m(280.9-321.0lbft)
Torquethemasterlinkboltsto
340-380N·m(251-280lbft)
Donotovertighten.T apeachboltwithabrassorlead
hammertoensurejointisseated.Thenrechecktorque.
