1.Raisethedozerblade100mm(3.9in).
2.Releasethedozerbladecontrollever,andsetthepark-
ingbrake.
3.Shuttheengineoff,andremovetheignitionkey.
4.Loosentheretainingbolt(1)fromtheslottedkeyway
onthestrut.
5.Useabar(2)toadjustthestrutclockwiseorcounter-
clockwiseuntilthedesiredpitchangleisreached,stop-
pingat1/2-turnincrements.
6.Replacetheretainingbolt(1)attheslottedkeyway.

Rearwardpositionbladepitchedrearward
Whenthetopofthedozerbladepitchissettotherear-
wardposition,thebladewillbeabletopushalarger
load.Thebladewillstayontopinsoftground.The
bladewillnotdigintotheground.Usetherearward
pitchpositionfornegrading.
Forwardpositionbladepitchedforward
Whenthetopofthedozerbladepitchissettothefor-
wardposition,theloadslidesoffofbladeascrawler
travelsinreverse.Thebladewilldigintohardground.
Therewillbelessloadspillageoverthetopoftheblade.
