The main difference between the Windows 7 & Windows 8 keyboards is in the func-
tion of the Windows Logo Key (in the Start screen), otherwise the keyboard func-
tions are identical (see “Keyboard” on page 1 - 10).

The function/hot key indicators function in the same manner as outlined for Windows
7 on “Function Keys & Visual Indicators” on page 1 - 14 (except for the Mute, Vol-
ume and Brightness indicators which use the standard Windows 8 indicators). How-
ever the indicators work under the Desktop app (see “Desktop Application” on
page F - 4) and not under the Start screen.
