Overview of mobile stations
A mobile station typically consists of an RFU, a handset, a 12 V DC
power supply (battery), an antenna, control and accessory devices,
ancillary equipment, and appropriate connecting cables. The antenna is
connected to the transceiver by coaxial cable. An automatic tuning
antenna also requires a control cable connected to the transceiver.
