3.9.3.2 Using the Handpiece Direction

Handpiece Direction
NOTE: This process applies ONLY to the
APEX 2-Button (C9824) and Full-Function
(C9828) Handpieces, the MicroChoice Full-
Function (MC9828) Handpiece, and the
Advantage 2-Button (D9824/D9924)
Handpiece.
1. Press and release the Direction
Select button to change operating
directions between forward,
reverse, and oscillate. A beep will sound
every time the button is pressed and the
controller will indicate the selected
direction. If audio is enabled via the
“CONTROLLER OPTIONS/FUNCTION”
switches (Ports 1 and 2 only on the
Advantage controller) the direction will be
pronounced (See “2.1.3.4 Switch 3 - Audio
Selection” on page 41).
