Group 2 Handpieces
NOTES:
1. Group 2 handpieces consist of the
MicroChoice levered and non-levered
Drills (5020-021, -025, -026), Saws
(5020-022, -023, -024), and Modular
Handpiece (5020-027).
2. Group 2 handpieces will operate on the
Power
Pro controller, E9000 controller
and the Advantage controller, in either
Port 2 (Top Portion of controller) or Port
3 (Bottom Portion of controller) and
function identically in either port.
3. The Low Speed Drill (5020-026) will not
operate in Port 3 (Bottom Portion of
Advantage controller).
4. The MicroChoice Modular Handpiece
(5020-027) will not operate by a
footswitch.
3.4 MicroChoice Drills
3.4.1 Tubing Set Attachment (E9418)
for
MicroChoice Handpieces
1. To attach the E9418 irrigation tubing set to
the MicroChoice handpieces:
(a) Securely press the tubing into the
slot of the irrigation handpiece clip
(5040-130).
(b) Attach the clip to the back of the
handpiece.
(c) Snap the handpiece cord clips onto the
handpiece cable to secure the tubing.
2. There are several irrigation tip
configurations that allow irrigation with a
specific handpiece (See “6.1 Handpieces,
Attachments and Accessories” on page
149). Attach the appropriate irrigation tip to
the tubing and the handpiece.
