The Service Port Protocol menu enables you to set the protocol used on the ser-
vice port of the CPU board.
Note: This menu item is only available via the local service panel.

with local service panel
This procedure describes how to use the Local Service Panel to view/change
the value of the Service Port Protocol in the PSS 5000.
1. Press to move to the INFORMATION 1 menu.
2. Press , , , , , , , to move to the SVCPORT PROTOCOL

3. Press the buttons in the sequence shown below to move to the sub-menu
and view/change the datalink timeout value in the PSS 5000.
4. Press OK to assign the named protocol.
