5.1 Protocol to Port Assignment (Menu 2.1)
Description of the
protocol to port
assignment menu
The PSS 5000 application can use a large number of protocols with which to
communicate with the other system devices.
From the factory, one or more protocols are assigned to each port on the CPU
board. Each assignment can be changed using the Service menus.
Note: See ‘5.1.1 Limitations’ on page 35 for a description of the limitations
associated with the Protocol to Port assignments.
