6.1 5.2.7 Maintenance interval
The maintenance interval of the measuring system shall be determined during the
field test and specified. The maintenance interval should be three months, if possi-
ble, but at least two weeks.
6.2 Equipment
No additional equipment is required to test this performance criterion.
6.3 Testing
In testing this performance criterion, the types of maintenance work and the corresponding
maintenance intervals needed to ensure proper functioning of the measuring system were
determined. Moreover, drift behaviour of zero/span point according to 7.1 8.5.4 Long-
term drift was taken into consideration in determining the maintenance interval.
6.4 Evaluation
During the entire field test period, no excessive drift behaviour was observed in the measur-
ing systems. The maintenance interval is therefore determined by the necessary mainte-
nance tasks.
During operation, maintenance tasks are generally limited to contamination and plausibility
checks as well as checking for potential status signals and error warnings.
6.5 Assessment
As determined by the necessary maintenance tasks the maintenance interval 4 weeks.
Does this comply with the performance criterion? yes
6.6 Detailed presentation of test results
