TAV5 vent valves have an 0.5 mm diameter orice and are suit
able for venng small
vacuum systems of < 5 litres. TAV6 vent valves have an 1.0 mm diameter orice and are
suitable for venng bigger vacuum systems.
The vent valves are pre-wired to Vent Opon 1 and that the default is set to fully vent at
50% (opon 0). The solenoid valve is ed in place of the manual valve, or alternavely
can be ed with an adaptor (supplied with the valve) and be used with any suitable
NW10 anged port on the vacuum system. The vent port adaptor allows the vent port or
the purge port to be used with any suitable NW10 ng.

14.5 VRX vent restrictor
Use a VRX xed orice vent restrictor to restrict the ow of vent gas into the pump.

14.6 Vent port adaptor
The vent port adaptor has a 1/8 inch BSP male thread that can be screwed into both the
vent port and purge port, making them suitable for NW10 ngs.

14.7 PRX purge restrictor
The PRX10 is a modied DN10NW centring ring tha
t lters the purge gas and restricts its
ow rate to the recommended ow of 25 sccm. A vent port adaptor must be ed to
the purge port in order to connect a purge restrictor to the pump.
