6.1.8 Timer seng and opons
The meout period is a user-congurable opon and can be set to any value from
1 to 30 minutes.
When the pump is shipped, it is congured with a default meout period of 8 minutes.
Refer to Timer on page 16 for a full descripon of mer funconality.
To change the mer seng, send the following command (where the characters 'd'
represent the meout period in minutes):

The Timer seng is now s
tored in memory within the nEXT pump.
To check what meout period is set, send a query as follows:

The reply will be as follows:

The mer is permanently enabled during r
ampup, however it is oponal whether to
have it enabled at other mes. When the pump is shipped, the Timer is enabled by
default.
To disable the mer, send the following serial command:

! S 8 7 0 sp 0 cr
The reply will be as follows:

* S 8 7 0 sp r cr
The state of the mer opon is st
ored in memory within the nEXT pump.
To enable the mer again, send the following serial command:
Command
! S 8 7 0 sp 1 cr
The reply will be as follows:
