2. To replace an inlet screen, locate it as centrally as possible over the CF inlet ange
and then, with ng
ers applying equal pressure around the edge of the screen, push
it rmly downwards.
If they are not already in place, the tangs must be snapped into the locang groove in
the inlet ange using a suitable tool to press them into posion.
For ISO anged pumps, Edwards supplies a combinaon inlet screen/trapped O-ring.
5.2.2 Mounng orientaon
nEXT730D and 930D pumps can be mounted in any orientaon,
nEXT1230H pumps can be mounted
▪ horizontally or vercally, with the high-vacuum ange on top and in any
orientaon in between or

NOTICE: PUMP DAMAGE
The pump can be damaged if it is operated in the incorrectly installed orientaon.
Observe the scker on the pump and install the pump only in the permied
orientaon.
