12.5.2 Calling up remedy information
Remedy information is provided for every diagnostic event to ensure that problems can be
rectified quickly:
On the home page
Remedy information is displayed in a separate field below the diagnostics information.
In the Diagnostics menu
Remedy information can be called up in the working area of the user interface.
The user is in the Diagnostics menu.
1. Call up the desired parameter.
2. On the right in the working area, mouse over the parameter.
A tool tip with remedy information for the diagnostic event appears.
12.6 Adapting the diagnostic information
12.6.1 Adapting the diagnostic behavior
Each item of diagnostic information is assigned a specific diagnostic behavior at the
factory. The user can change this assignment for specific diagnostic information in the
Diagnostic behavior submenu.

 52 Using the example of the local display
You can assign the following options to the diagnostic number as the diagnostic behavior:
Options Description
Alarm The device stops measurement. The signal outputs and totalizers assume the defined
alarm condition. A diagnostic message is generated.
The background lighting changes to red.
Warning The device continues to measure. The signal outputs and totalizers are not affected. A
diagnostic message is generated.
Logbook entry only The device continues to measure. The diagnostic message is only displayed in the Event
logbook submenu (Event list submenu) and is not displayed in alternating sequence
with the operational display.
Off The diagnostic event is ignored, and no diagnostic message is generated or entered.
12.6.2 Adapting the status signal
Each item of diagnostic information is assigned a specific status signal at the factory. The
user can change this assignment for specific diagnostic information in the Diagnostic
event category submenu.
