Emergency Stop Button
There are 2 emergency stop buttons, one at the
front, one at the rear of the machine.
Pressing the emergency stop button will
immediately stop the m
achine. It is a controlled
stoppage at which the supply of energy for the
motors remains to provide a definite stop. The
energy for the motors will be switched off as
soon as all axes stopped. Electronic control
system, PC and monitor are still powered.
Co
mpressed air is not discontinued.
1.6.3 Safety Cover
The safety cover prevents from accidentally
contact of moving parts. During production the
safety cover has to be closed. It is loc
ked by the
machine to avoid unintended opening.
It can only be opened after request on GUI (
)
or after pressing the emergency switch. The
machine will halt all moving parts.
