2.3.5 Machine Coordinate System
X, Y, Z and Theta axes
Horizontal axis pointing from left to right, seen
f
rom the front of the machine.
Point of origin of the X axis is in the leftmost
position of the production area.
An ascending X value means head moving from
left to right, seen from the front of the machine.
Horizontal axis pointing from the f
ront of the
machine towards the rear of the machine.
Point of origin of the Y axis is the front position
of the production area.
An ascending Y value means head moving from
front to rear of the machine.
Z axis (Z)
Vertical axis pointing from the bottom of the machine towards the top of the machine.
Point of origin of the Z axis (Z zero height) is the surface of the calib station.
An ascending Z value means axis moving from bottom to top.
Theta axis (T)
Rotational axis, rotation around Z axis.
