3.2 Graphical User Interface (GUI)
The graphical user interface (GUI) is used to interact with the machine. This includes:
• setting and reading parameters
• executing commands
• displaying information (graphic and plain text)
The touch screen is the main interface between human and machine. There is no hardware
keyboard and no mouse necessary to control the machine.
An on-screen keyboard is
popping up once data have to be typed in.
3.2.1 Screen Sections
The screen is divided into seven main sections. This structure appears on most screens.
Per Tab, Menu and Submenu, a complete Screen exists. For example it is said 'the screen
Overview', which consist of graphics, parameters, submenus and softkeys.
