3 Human Machine Interface HMI
This chapter describes the interface components between operator and machine, the human
machine interface. This includes information on the:
• Switches
• Touch screen with Graphical User Interface (GUI) and on-screen keyboard
• Signal tower
• USB / DVD drive
• Feeder LEDs
• Barcode Reader
• Valve controller
Information about programming or setting up the HMI components is content of the online
help and is not explained in this chapter.
For better visibility of subjacent functions, covers have been removed or opened before
taking pictures. In standard operating mode all covers have to be in place at any time.
