4.6.4 Edit/Convert CAD Data
Preparation
Make oneself familiar with all components to
place on the PCB:
• Package shape
• Package dimension
• Carrier type
• Electrical values
• Orientation in the tape pocket/cavity or on
the tray or on the stick. To see the
orientation of already taught components in
the machine library, go to Teach -
Component and select the appropriate
component (see picture).
– (1) Basic component placement in the
library with orientation 0°
– (2) Taught component orientation in the
carrier (pick orientation)
