1.7.3 Chemical Hazard
Chemical Hazard
Some substances used during operation or maintenance (media, adhesives, cleaning agents,
lubricants etc.) may cause health hazards when used without protection. Some substances
may ignite when coming in to contact with hot surfaces or other chemical substances,
therefore avoid any contact of chemical
substances with hot surfaces.
Consult and obey the Material Safety data Sheet (MSDS) of the corresponding material and
use protective equipment if necessary.
1.7.4 Material Handling
The Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) can have sharp edges. Handling these objects can cause cuts
on hands and clothing. Handle all material with care.
1.7.5 Moving Parts
Moving parts!
Moving parts can cause serious injury.
When operating softkeys keep hands, loose clothing and tools clear of all moving parts.
Do not change parameters or operate softkeys unless the resultant action is known.
Conveyor
The conveyor may move left or right unexpectedly. Keep hands and loose clothing clear of the
conveyor.
Feeder
The cover tape spool and the reels of feeders may revolve unexpectedly. Keep hands and loose
clothing clear of the feeders.
XY Gantry / Head
The XY Gantry with the Head may move left or right, back and forth unexpectedly. The head axes
may move up and down unexpectedly. Keep body, hands and loose clothing clear of the XY Gantry
and the head.
